Bike Trends - Observations on an ever changing lifestyle!
So I'm seeing more road bikes on the streets these days. Interesting considering that 10 years ago every one wanted a mountain bike to ride the mean pot hole infested urban streets. Has every body figured out how to ride a bike and not go through the pot holes? Or is it that mountain bikes are big fat pigs on the gas mileage and effort? That there really for off road.
What's been figured out? The market was/is, were told "do this cause everybody else is a doing it..."kinda scary ain't it? The bike for the purpose! Ya got sneakers for the round town asphalt. and boots for kicking your dog/god dirt - guess the pendulum swings. Possibly it was Greg and Lance to show us Americans the way. Fast and sexy.
